Nolan’s second event for RBR in the ASA Challenge Series took place over this past weekend at the legendary Bristol Motor Speedway. The team had a successful test on Friday, where Nolan held the 6^th fastest time of one of the final practice sessions. 42 cars tested and prepared for Saturdays Benson International 200, which would carry a field of 33 by race time. Nolan pulled off a qualifying lap of 15.70 which was good enough to start 15^th in the field. The #20 New Whey Ford Fusion ran in the top 15 until lap 84 when there was a little contact causing #20 to start at the rear of the field. With the help of a great pit stop by the Wilson Motorsports boys, Nolan was able to come back through the field and finish in the 18^th spot. “I was real happy how the entire weekend went,” said Nolan, “ Everyone really worked well as a team…it was a great job by all…the finish doesn’t really justify how good we were today”.
